• Review of "Shell" at Spring Hill

  I am new to the area and was driving to the GM plant and saw the sign for a Shell Gas Station after turning off of I-65 towards Spring Hill, TN. I decided to stop at the Shell station and get a cup of coffee. I have been in many, many gas stations that offer coffee and donuts. NEVER have I run across the excellent set up this place has. It was very clean. Not only did they have the standard amenities for coffee, they had a refrigerated area set into the counter top that had what 99.9% of gas station coffee services do not. They had real milk and real cream and not only whole milk but 1% and 2%. You could tell by looking at the containers the milk was fresh and not old. If I had a dime every time I put warm French Vanilla in my coffee and got the after taste that was half rotten...yuck! Well, not here. Then came the icing on the cake. That is cake donuts with chocolate icing and cinnamon cake donuts. I have NEVER seen cake donuts at a gas station. The donut display at this Shell is twice the size of most and it has a better variety that Dunkin Donuts. They make the donuts there and it is obvious because they are great! Thanks to Angela and Michelle for chocolate frosting on a cake donut as good as any and better than all other gas stations. Who cares about the gas, give me the coffee and donuts Angela and Michelle and this staff turns out and I will walk!

  Clean classroom environments and nice size rooms. The staff is remarkable and very caring. They have excellent music and art programs taught by professionals. The outdoor play area is shared by all of the classes at different times.

  We love PCA!! My daughter started at Phoenix Children's Academy in Franklin when she was 4 months old and we transferred to the one in Spring Hill when a spot opened in the Infant Room. The teachers are very informative and professional. They have treated my daughter like their own. My daughter loves coming to school and that means the world to me. I really appreciate the daily report app, I can see pictures and updates throughout the day from my phone!! I highly recommend PCA to anyone looking for peace of mind for your little ones!!

• Review of "The Academy At WellSpring" at Spring Hill

  They seemed to genuinely care about the kids, but their communication with parents is seriously lacking. My son went for almost half a year and I never knew the extent of the behavior problems they had with him until I was called to pick him up one day for hitting another child. When I pressed for more information, turns out they had been putting him in time out nearly every day (which they said they didn't use as a tactic) and he was often being sent to the office. None of this was told to me or my husband when we would drop off or pick up in the room. And I asked every single time. When his teacher called for advice, I gave a few ways I handled his disobedience. Come to find out, she never tried any of them. The kids didn't do much in the rooms either. I received a note in his folder asking for Christmas themed movies they could borrow so the kids could watch one a day. The teacher told me for nap time, she just turned the TV on. We were extremely disappointed with Wellspring and their mishandling of my son was so bad, it's taken him a year to get over his anxiety of school.
